Interpretation
Immediate understanding and word translation are absolutely necessary for interpretation. The services of an interpreter are needed in such situations as business meetings, talks, business travels, etc.
Consecutive interpretation is the method of translation where a speaker makes pauses to let the interpreter do the work. This method is particularly effective during meetings with a small number of participants when there is a necessity to have a small walk, or when touring a building or taking an excursion, for example.
Simultaneous interpretation is more complicated technically than personally. It is the method of interpreting when an interpreter is performing translation at the same moment that the speech is delivered. The speaker makes no pauses to let the interpreter translate. This type of interpreting is used in large-scale events with a large audience. Such interpretation requires an extremely high level of training that lasts for several years. That is why it is desirable to hire several interpreters for simultaneous translation. The client is paying per booth per hour and for the number of interpreters in the booth, as determined by TRANSLINK Company.
Simultaneous interpretation requires special equipment (headphones, special transmitters, booths equipped for interpreting, etc.) If your company has no such equipment or the environment is not equipped, we provide and install all the necessary equipment.
